Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is her character Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at TV and film roles. In 1992 Anna got her first major character in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be guest stars on a few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film and a few other films included her. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn also participated in an audio-play show known as "Numbered days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last years in the story of Walter White.
