Ashanti Shequoiya, better popularly known as Ashanti, is a well-known American actress and singer. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti gained fame as an teen. In the year she debuted her debut single the single, What's Luv which ranked at the second spot at the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at #1 featuring Foolish as her debut single, she became the only female to achieve this feat. The first female artist to have both the top two spots on American Billboard Hot 100 and with the number one spot held by Foolish. one and the other being What's Loving?
